Putting the Pieces Together Maine PTPT supports children with Autism and their families in Maine by raising awareness and funds for th PTPT also has a social group. PTPT has 300 facebook members.

Putting The Pieces Together is an organization providing support, education, empowerment, networking and fund raising efforts to families and individuals on the autism spectrum. PTPT is located in Southern Maine and spreading community awareness. The group primarily raises funds to assist families with the high cost of therapeutic equipment and therapies. Bowl a thon, silent auction, ghost parties

with Tastefully Simple and Scentsy are just a few fund raisers held last year. To request an application for funds, email [email protected]. Documentation of autism diagnosis is required upon complete the application. PTPT has been able to help pay for swim lessons, horseback riding, ipad, five point harness car seat and other equipment. It is available to ANY child with special needs. Monthly community outing are planned (and will be posted on facebook). This is an opportunity for parents to connect and children to practice their social skills. Such outings have included, fire station visit and tour, Pumpkin Valley Farm, Smiling Hill Farm, and York Animal Kingdom. Use fb to ask questions, send inspiring quotes, tell us about your child’s achievements, interests, therapies and we would love to hear stories about the positive and helpful people in your child’s lives.
