By now you have probably noticed a change in Drift & Wander. We have made the difficult decision to not renew our lease at 20 Alfred St. Big thank you to Biddeford for being home to so many of our dreams and goals for the past 3.5 years. It’s nearly impossible to put all the highs and the lows of this chapter into words—but we’re so damn proud and so excited for what will come next. Forever love to all our supporters, friends and family too. 💌🪩🌵💗✨

Evan will be with us next Saturday & we’re so excited!! Learn more about his craft…
“Evan is a local maker and woodworker focused on making one of a kind wooden items for everyday use and display. He primarily focuses on practical items from natural materials like, cutting boards, serving trays, furniture, and custom engraved wooden signs. Using wood is particularly satisfying as each piece is unique and tells the story of an organic piece of the world in how its grain flows and changes throughout the piece. Evan works out of the Open Bench Project in Portland, a community centric makerspace where he is able to collaborate and learn from fellow woodworkers, metal workers, and all sorts of other creative folks. At this event he will primarily have end grain cutting boards, serving trays, and coasters.”

“My name is Fritz Van Winkle and I am an artist from Raymond Maine currently living in Biddeford. I started making glass artwork about three years ago and have fallen in love with the infinite opportunities and range of color in borosilicate glass. I am inspired by designs presented by fungi as well as the depth and visual effects that are achievable in glass. I greatly enjoy meeting and talking to other artists and art enthusiasts and am looking forward to a wonderful market with Drift and Wander Collective.”
