So proud of the kids in our Music Exploration Program at Beach Cities Learning in Manhattan Beach. A unique program of Special Angel Inc, we are now in our 3rd year. The kids become more open, involved and excited to learn. Our teachers are caring professionals with the ability to connect in a positive manner.

Special Angel Inc is looking forward to a great New Year ahead in California and Georgia. Our Program at Beach Cities Learning Center in Manhattan Beach is growing. Our work with The Boys and Girls Clubs of greater Augusta is doing well. As we grow, we hope to bring it to the Los Angeles area also.

We love The Boys and Girls Clubs of Augusta.
Such fun celebrating the holidays with the awesome staff and kids at The Thomson Boys and Girls club yesterday. The kids gave a great show. Early Clover got the show started and Special Angel is looking forward to a great New Year ahead 🎶🎶

Flashback to the 2022 start of our new California program, "Music Exploration" for teens at the Manhattan Beach Learning Center. Kelly Lance heads up the program along with Michael Monagan engaging kids having difficulty socializing, gaining confidence setting goals etc. This collaborative program with The Beach Cities School in Manhattan Beach, California has been well received, brings the kids together to socialize, learn about music and more.

Musicians, Michael Monagan and Kenji Haroukian received great response to this new program. Michael, our lead musician, brings 30 years experience teaching Special Ed in Los Angeles.

The teens involved in the program gave a presentation last May outside for staff, parents and caregivers.

We are proud to announce that our book continues to receive great feedback. Thanks to all who have ordered so far. First published in 2010 the book is still relevant today. An inspiring story of mother - daughter struggles through the teen years and how music was the key to growth and understanding.The book shares our story and what we learned from the many teens we have worked with through music and open discussion.

We continue to learn from teens who share their thoughts and feelings about life struggles today and the pressure to fit in. All book proceeds go to Special Angel Inc. to help us continue to bring our program at no charge to agencies helping troubled teens.
