As you might know, we were in danger of losing the 70th Annual Beulah Valley Arts & Crafts Show because of a lack of volunteer support. Fortunately, two amazing people agreed to take on some very important tasks so that the show could go on!

Brain Earl is in charge of setting up the entertainment this year. Brian, a graduate of the Beulah School and long time local, has been part of the greater Pueblo music scene for decades. He's been instrumental in garnering some great local acts. Most exciting, for our street dance Saturday night, Southern Colorado favorite The Martini Shot will be headlining! We can't wait!

Amy Nelson, another Beulah School alum (and Brian's wife) has been working hard revising our sponsorship outreach program and coordinating the food trucks this year. We're excited to welcome back several local favorites, such as Rooster's Pizza Wagon, and a new coffee truck called Red Herring Coffee (by Kayla Anderson from Beulah).

On a warm summer Saturday evening, what could be better than being in beautiful Beulah? Come to Beulah for a Second Saturday Art Stroll - visit the art gallery at the Dotson Cabin and Beulah Valley Pottery from 4-6 pm for art and light refreshments. Then head to the Beulah Inn or the Stompin' Grounds to finish off the evening!

We have an exciting new workshop for June! Marita Goheen will teach poured paint, of "Fluid Art" as it's more properly called. This technique yields beautiful and unique works of art. June 27, 1-3:30 pm, at the Grand View Church. This class is too messy for the Beulah Inn! Are y’all ready for the 70th Annual Beulah Valley Arts & Crafts Festival and Cool Mountain Run Car Show? You better be! We are gearing up for one of the best yet, with live music all day, a bunch of food trucks, a full bar and the Saturday night street dance featuring The Martini Shot from 6-9pm!

This beloved local festival is, and always has been, a completely volunteer run event. We almost lost it this year, but fortunately a wellspring of support from the community rose up when we realized it was in danger. That being said, we still need more people to make sure it is successful! If you haven’t received any emails from [email protected] regarding volunteering opportunities, and you think you should have, send us a message or comment below!

Follow along here for all your updates and information regarding the festival. The festival runs the first full weekend of August every year. This year it will be 8/1 and 8/2.
