QCA MOP: Jacory Langford from our 16u Select team was absolutely electric all weekend in Kansas City! Lights out shooting from 3 had a game where he hit 5 3s while causing chaos on the defensive end! Jacory’s presence helped lead his 16u Squad to a perfect 4-0 weekend!

QCA FIRST: Mila Hanley of our 5th grade select is a true gym rat and absolute gem of a kid!! Playing up as a 4th grader in the 5th grade Mila’s will to win while uplifting her teammates is contagious! Mila’s team first mindset helped carry her team to a 4-1 championship record at the Battle of the Best in Des Moines!

QCA TEAM OF THE WEEK: QCA 15u Select! Complete domination of their bracket! With an average margin of victory 39.5 points per game, there wasn’t much any team in the gym could do with our 15u Select this weekend! Perfect 4-0 record this weekend in Kansas City! We’re very proud@of this group!

🚨WEEKLY AWARD WINNERS🚨

QCA MOP: Ari Abbey!!! Her game spoke for itself this weekend! Ari dominated at the Dubuque Spring Jam this weekend leading her 8th grade select team to a 4-0 record and tournament championship! We’re proud of Ari and have admired how she’s overcome adversity these last 8 months!

QCA TEAM OF THE WEEK: 5th Select (Girls)!!! Winning the select events Windy City Classic, these girls brought their A game this weekend. Super strong group from top to bottom, every weekend these girls expect to bring back hardware! Congrats girls!!

QCA FIRST: Mason Busch! The 2032 guard was a major team first guy this weekend in wins and losses, he was a leader on and off the court while doing whatever was needed for his team to keep them competitive all weekend! Way to go Mason!!

QCA FIRST: Award goes to a girl who lives in the gym and keeps a team first mindset at all times! Our true dog Jaela Minnaert! The future Geneseo girls Point guard led her team to a 4-0 record and a championship this weekend while defending home turf at TBK!

QCA MOP: Our most outstanding player of the weekend goes to 8th grader Savaun Jones from Clinton! Dominating performances with pure passion and a will to win! Vaun put up big numbers while leading his 8th select team to a big time championship and win over Brad Beal Elite EYBL at the Balliswife event in St. Louis.

QCA TEAM OF THE WEEK: 7th Grade Select Boys! Absolutely dominated all 4 games this weekend, while maintaining an average margin of victory of 26.2 pts/game. Our 7th grade select proved what the academy embodies this weekend. Relentless aggression on both ends of the floor while bringing a FAMILY ASPECT to the game of basketball!!

Congrats to our winners!!! Let’s continue to be GREAT QCA!!! See you all back in the gym this week for practices!
