Members collected needed items for Argrow's House of Healing and Hope, a safe space where free services are offered daily for women healing from violence and abuse. Services range from domestic violence support group, spiritual direction, art therapy, massage therapy, and more.

Brainstorming meeting this Tuesday, August 12, 5 pm at Granite City in Davenport. We will be thinking of places/things we can do to help out other organizations this year. Dues for the coming year will be collected as well. Message me for more info.

Thanks to Kelsey Pisel from Zero Waste Reserve for letting us meet at her shop. She gave a history of her business and we had the chance to shop. Brought home the message that we all need to reduce our plastic use and use better products and refillable containers.

Churches United were very appreciative of the purses we donated. Items inside included band aids, deoderant, lotion, shampoo, conditioner, hand soap, nail files, tissue packs, toothbrushes/toothpaste. At their meal site, they serve between 30-70 homeless persons each night. These items will be disbursed to those in need.
