Mr. Samson sure did do a 180 once he finished his pain pills. Had to visit Dr. Mitchell today bc he’s fallen 2 different times, yesterday and 5:30am 🥺
Steroid injection, steroids for the next few days, and added a few staples since he licked at his wound thru his shirt 🥴
This momma is emotionally drained ❤️‍🩹
Plz send all the healing thoughts our way 💜

Happy Friday friends!
Many of you may know the story of Samson. The old boy that was nearly hit by a truck 2 summers ago. Well he needs a little love right about now. He has surgery next Tuesday to remove a mass on his front right shoulder. Dr. Mitchell and I are afraid it’ll rupture and cause him more pain 🥺 and we can’t have that! He’s moving around so well and talking to me alll the time!!! Any little bit will help ❤️

This little cutie turned 3 yesterday!

A few weeks ago I picked up this little cutie. She was extremely skinny and covered in ticks 🥺. I brought her home, gave her a bath, removed as many ticks as I could, gave her a dose of capstar w a snack, and then she took a nap 🥰. DandyLittleLion stayed w me for 10 days 💜 and now she’s at her furever home w a friend of mine from work!! Audrey says, she’s in love 😻. TLC, good food, and lots of love saved this little pup!!

Taking Rhea in has shown me how much love and work went into helping her heal. She came to me after being neglected-emaciated and covered in pests, and the transformation Sooner made possible says so much about her compassion and dedication.

What stands out most is how deeply Sooner cares for the animals she rescues. She didn’t just save Rhea — she gave her a chance at a healthy, happy life, and I’m so grateful I was able to take her in. Gracie’s Place is doing beautiful work.

Samson and I went on a little adventure today. First to see Dr. Mitchel at McMillan Vet in Gallatin for his first Librela shot, helps w his pain and arthritis. Then to Kroger for kitty cat food, and then to see my hay guy, gotta have snacks for the Bigs ❤️ such a productive day!!!! Sam is out like lights as we speak 😴. A huge thanks to my aunt and uncle for their generous donation a couple of weeks ago!! Sam would’ve had to wait a couple more weeks to see the doc 🥺.
