Sadie Lane’s first time with a saddle! She is such a sweet and patient little lady 💜 I can’t wait to swing my leg over and take her for a shorty walk around the round pen ✨

Oh Hankaroo! I think I’ve created a monster 😂
First a bath at Tractor supply $10 for self service. Then a kiss from a stranger and a hug from another stranger and lots of pets from 3 little kiddos 🥰. And then a pup cup!!! He was such a good boy 🫶🏻

Little Miss Sadie Lane, you impress me every single day! Today we tried on a hoof boot that was 1/2 size too large and she did great and then we put a ba****ck pad on and worked circles for a bit!

Thank goodness for amazing neighbors and friends! Montana and I headed out on an adventure with girlies I worked w at The Palm yesterday and on our way home I hit the flippin bridge w my back trailer tire! Ooooh I hit it once before 9 years ago when I first started pulling a trailer but never like this!! Thanks to Jeff Baskerville for being at the perfect spot at the perfect time! And for his jokes 😂

UPDATE: the Velcro’d shoe stayed on all night long! I added a bell boot so Poppy didn’t accidentally pull it off while walking!!!! Eeeeek I’m so happy!

Arts and crafts day 💕
The duct tape boot I made for Pop lasted a couple of days. I thought to myself, there has to be a better way. Sooooo I glued velcro onto a glue on shoe and to Poppy’s hoof. Let’s see how long this will last!!!

Stall rest for 10 days and now back to the round pen for a week or so, depending on the weather of course. I’m hoping after a couple farrier visits she’ll be good to go 🤞🏻💜
