We are saddened by the loss of Norfolk filmmaker, musician and creator Tony Camarillo, who was killed Wednesday on his way to the premiere of his latest film at a local 48 Hour Film Project festival. The SAG-AFTRA Washington Mid-Atlantic Local honors Tony’s contributions to the local creative community and extends our deepest condolences to his family, friends and collaborators during this difficult time.

Friend and collaborator Scott Medina is working to finish and release a song Tony Camarillo was creating before his death, with help from Hampton Roads artists.
