Our Rotary District and Buckner Shoes for Orphan Souls have partnered for 25 years, collecting shoes and socks for children in our communities and all over the world. You can drop off donations at Bethany Fuel Depot from now until April 20!

Your support goes beyond shoes: It provides safety, education, and love for vulnerable children in our community and around the world.

This Saturday, March 21, 2026, Bethany Rotary Club is asking for volunteers to join us in cleaning up Memorial Park for the Annual Easter Egg Hunt hosted by Bethany Area Chamber of Commerce.

Gloves are always a good idea to bring, and if you have trimmers or leaf blowers, we could always use the extra power!

👟 National Shoe the World Day is this Saturday, March 15th, and the Bethany Rotary Club is proud to be part of something big!

This year marks the 25th Anniversary of our Shoes for Orphan Souls partnership with Buckner International. To celebrate, Rotary District 6040 is challenging itself to collect 25,000 pairs of new shoes - and Buckner will match every single pair, for a total of 50,000 pairs!

Over 500 million people worldwide don't have shoes to wear. You can change that.

Please check out this interview with our upcoming Rotary International President Larry Lundsford. Larry provides some great commentary in regards to his upcoming role as Rotary International President.

Larry Lunsford of Kansas City will serve a one year term as president of Rotary International, starting in 2027. He told KCUR's Up To Date that his "heart is full of joy at the opportunity to serve in this meaningful way."

Bethany Rotarians help deliver shoes to the caravan for the Buckner Shoes for Orphan Souls roundup. Over 350 pairs of shoes along with hundreds of pairs of socks were collected and distributed both locally and internationally!
