What a wonderful and aesthetically beautiful event we hosted yesterday to celebrate the finale of our Spring 2026 lineup of Free Sunday Programs! We are grateful to Luis E. Barela, who showed us how he brings to life his multi-textured wood carvings of religious figures in the tradition of the legendary Taos Woodcarvers.

What an informative presentation we had last Sunday when Juanita J. Lavadie gave us some amazing insights to the works of the legendary Montoya weavers of the 8-pointed El Valle star patterns. Many thanks to Juanita-we so appreciate her creativity and willingness to share this important historic craft with our community.
