💚 Weekly Gratitude Post 💚
(Donations are not posted in real time)

What an incredible week it has been! Every act of kindness, big or small, reminds us that our community truly cares for one another.
A heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who made a difference this week:

🥘 To Lynn, Irene, and the wonderful volunteer from Family Dollar who prepared homemade ziti, lasagna, salad, and bread to provide hot meals for our neighbors experiencing homelessness or hardship. Thank you also to Robbi for donating delicious desserts to make those meals even more special.

🥪 Thank you to Lynn for also dropping off sandwiches, rolls, zucchini, and other food for the community fridge while continuing to share meals with those in need throughout town. Your generosity reaches so many people.

🥡 A huge thank you to Dynasty for donating more food containers. These donations make it possible for our volunteers to safely package and share meals with our community.

🥫🥖🥘 Thank you to Lighthouse Credit union for donating to the fridge, helping to nourish our community.

❤️ Thank you to PJ Knowles, who donated juice, pasta, milks, sauce and other food and goods to the fridge out of the kindness of their heart!

💚 And to every volunteer, donor, and supporter who gave their time, food, supplies, or encouragement this week, thank you. Because of you, our fridge continues to be a place of hope, dignity, and kindness for anyone who needs it.

Every meal served, every container donated, every loaf of bread shared, and every helping hand reminds us that compassion is alive and well in our community.

Together, we're proving that little acts of kindness can make a big difference. 💚🍽️🥖

🌼 A Little Kindness Goes a Long Way 🌼

Today we found the sweetest surprise waiting at the community fridge... beautiful little mason jars filled with fresh wildflowers, along with a sign that read:

"FREE For the Taking (The Flowers)" 💛

We have no idea who left them, but we want you to know that your kindness didn't go unnoticed. What a beautiful reminder that this little fridge isn't just about feeding hungry stomachs, it's about feeding hearts too.

Someone who may have been having a difficult day got to take home a bouquet simply because a stranger cared enough to make one. That's a pretty special thing.

So to our anonymous flower friend... thank you. Thank you for sharing a little piece of joy, beauty, and love with our community. We hope your kindness comes back to you tenfold. 🌻💐

Sometimes the smallest gestures leave the biggest impact. ❤️

Whether you’re celebrating a win 🇪🇸 , cheering on your favorite team, or just there for the snacks, we hope you’re having a great day with family and friends.

If you’re hosting today, remember that the Berlin Community Fridge happily accepts unopened snacks, individually packaged drinks, fruit and veggie trays, desserts, and other safe-to-share leftovers. If you’re ever unsure whether something can be donated, just send us a message. We’d be happy to help!

A huge thank you to everyone who helped keep the fridge stocked this week. Please note that the photos shared are from earlier this week and are not representative of the fridge’s current contents.

💙 Thank you to Lighthouse Credit Union for their continued support and for providing bagged lunches that were delivered in multiple batches throughout the week.

🍕 Thank you to Gorham House of Pizza and Gold House of Pizza Berlin, NH for their generous pizza donations. A special thank you also goes to our amazing volunteers who divided all eight pizzas into individual containers so more neighbors could enjoy them.

🥘 Thank you to Robbi Lyn for the homemade meals she so generously prepared and donated.

🥕 Thank you to Kirstan Knowlton for sharing fresh homegrown fruits and vegetables.

❤️ Thank you to Sarah Harney for donating homemade sausage chop suey.

Every donation, whether it’s a full meal, a bag of chips, or fresh produce, helps a neighbor.

💚 Weekly Community Fridge Gratitude Post 💚

Some weeks remind us just how amazing this community truly is, and this has been one of those weeks.

A huge thank you to Ashley Demers, who not only picked up donated food from a fellow church member, but also brought her grandkids along to help stock the Community Fridge. Watching the next generation learn the importance of kindness, generosity, and serving others is something really special. Those are lessons that will last a lifetime. ❤️

A heartfelt thank you to the Knights of Columbus and St. Anne's Church for donating their leftover homemade chicken salad and egg salad sandwiches from bingo. Instead of letting good food go to waste, they chose to bless our community with it.

Thank you as well to everyone who helped make sure additional meals found their way to the fridge, including the generous donation of hot meals and watermelon cups that were shared with our neighbors in need.

And, as always, thank you to the volunteers who quietly work behind the scenes every single week! They're checking the fridge, picking up donations, cooking meals, cleaning, organizing, and making sure this project continues to serve so many families. Your dedication is the heartbeat of the Community Fridge.

Every sandwich, every meal, every ride to pick up donations, every fridge check, and every small act of kindness adds up to something much bigger.

From the bottom of our hearts… thank you for helping neighbors feed neighbors. 💚🍎

We hope everyone had a fun, safe, and happy Fourth of July weekend! 🇺🇸

If your celebrations left you with extra unopened snacks or ready-to-share treats, we’d love to help put them to good use. Individually packaged chips, unopened desserts, fruit and veggie trays, bottled drinks, and other shareable items can make a big difference for neighbors who stop by the fridge this week.

As always, we’re incredibly grateful for everyone who helped keep the fridge stocked over the past week. A huge thank you to:
Town and Country Inn and Resort, Kevin Tupick & Kelly Tupick for the breakfast meals. 💗Your continued support means the world. Lynn Blais, Kirstan Knowlton, Robbi Lyn, Sarah Harney for the meals made and the countless other ways you keep this project running. Thank you💗.
Chai Thai for the donation of soup containers which is so helpful for our volunteers to use for making meals.
Lighthouse Credit Union Berlin branch for 60 bagged lunches to the community fridge. 💗
Ashley Demers, Shelly Beaudette, for turning generous donations from Word of God church in Dummer into meals for our community.
And thank you to all the folks who donated, cleaned, monitored, and helped keep this project going. We couldn’t do it without the entire communities support and we are so grateful everyday. Thank YOU for showing up and caring.

You’ll find the Berlin Community Fridge on Gilbert Street next to the Parks & Recreation garage. It’s open 24/7.

We hope everyone has a fun, safe, and happy Independence Day filled with family, friends, and good food!

As you’re wrapping up your cookouts and celebrations this weekend, don’t forget that those extra servings can make a real difference for a neighbor. If you have safely handled leftovers or extra ready-to-eat food that won’t be eaten, consider sharing them with the community fridge instead of letting them go to waste.

Every donation, big or small, helps keep the fridge stocked and reminds our community what looking out for one another is all about.
