“Hi Lucky Team Projects😊

This is my son Niccolò .
Niccco was born on May 15, 2025, with symbrachydactyly of his left hand.
We only discovered it at birth, which came as a complete surprise to our family.His thumb is fully developed, while his other fingers were short and connected by skin. Despite the challenges, Nicco has grown into a happy, curious, and determined little boy.
In May 2026, he underwent his first hand surgery to separate two of his fingers. The surgery went well, and we are now waiting for a second operation later this year to separate the remaining fingers. We are hopeful and grateful for every step forward.
This journey has taught us that differences do not define our children.

When I found out that he was missing his fingers I was devastated, I didn’t know what I would tell him when he gets older and asks why he was born that way. "A year ago today, this sweet boy came into our life and surprised us at birth with his limb difference. As his mom, I had the oddest combination of joy and fear, elation and guilt. Did he have any internal issues? Was his limb difference my fault? What does his future look like? How would he ever crawl and would he hit other milestones at the "right" time?

For any mom who might be feeling this way and going through this uncharted territory, let me assure you that your baby was created exactly as they are for a reason, beautifully and wonderfully made. Your child was given everything he or she needs to succeed in this life, and you are going to be so impressed by them.

Even after 365 short days of watching this boy, it brings tears to our eyes. He is truly unstoppable, so joyful, completely able (and yes, he crawls at top speed 😉) and draws people to him with an almost magnetic force. God has big plans for him, as he has for each of your children.

This was our third and final baby, and while every baby has changed me as a person, he has definitely changed both me and my husband the most profoundly. Everything about him is a gift. 🥹

Huxley was born at 33 weeks on March 31, 2026. He was diagnosed with an arm abnormality early in pregnancy but we weren’t able to get any good ultrasound images of it. After he was discharged from the NICU we were referred to a hand/arm specialist who diagnosed him with Bilateral Club Hand. I know that we have a long journey ahead and we are learning as we go! We love our little guy and his lucky fin! 🤍" -Bri

Did you know Paw Patrol features limb different and disabled characters? Charger has a prosthetic leg and Rex uses a dog wheelchair. Pretty cool right? It’s so important that children’s programming highlights characters with disabilities to encourage discussion about diversity and acceptance. Disability is a natural variation, and storytelling fosters inclusion and showcases these characters strengths. Representation matters. Thank you ! 🐾🚓

“Hi my name is Jadelyn, but everyone calls me “Bug” & I just turned 1. My lucky fin went unnoticed the entire time my mommy was pregnant with me so it was a little bit of a surprise when I was born but that’s okay. I’m very loved by my entire family & I’ve been meeting all my milestones! I am such a happy baby & I LOVE to smile & laugh!
