Meet Thrag — 4 months old, and the chillest puppy in the building.
Thrag along with his sibling Shadow (see previous post) were recently surrendered to us due to no fault of their own. Same story as his brother Shadow, different personality entirely. While Shadow was out here demanding snacks and running for office, Thrag was lying in his bed like “It’s all good, man. We’re loved. We’ll be okay.” He didn’t do anything wrong. His family loved him. Life just changed, and now he’s here — in a loud shelter — being the bravest, sweetest little gentleman about it.
A little info on Thrag:
Chill vibes. Thrag is not here for the drama. He’s the puppy who watches the chaos, wags, and goes back to napping. He’s happy to play, happy to chill, happy to just exist next to you. He’s 4 months old but has the soul of an old soul. The kind of puppy who makes your nervous system calm down.
1 paw but unlimited aura. Thrag is missing one of his rear paws due to an injury. But don’t think that him not having a paw slows him down. It doesn’t. Not even a little. He plays, he wrestles, he does ALL the puppy things — fetch, pounce, wiggle-butt. He’s just doing it on three-and-a-half wheels with more style than any of us. He doesn’t know he’s different. He just knows he’s got places to be and cuddles to collect.
The sweetest boy. If sweet was a competition, Thrag won. He’s gentle. He’s soft-eyed. He leans into you like “Are we cuddling now? I think we’re cuddling now.” He’s the puppy who will lick your hand and then rest his head on it.
Doesn't jump / respectful of boundaries. In a world of puppies who use your face as a trampoline, Thrag is a unicorn. He doesn’t jump. He asks. He waits. He respects your space until you invite him in — and then he’s ALL in. Perfect for a family who wants puppy love without puppy parkour.
Good w kids. Kid-tested, kid-approved. Thrag loves kids. He’s gentle enough for little ones, playful enough for big ones, and patient enough for all of them. He would love to grow up with a family who has kids to protect and play with.
