I’m back with another VERY important message for my Morgan County family!

I am so lucky to have a community that has welcomed me with open arms. I LOVE getting out and seeing everyone at community events—whether I’m riding in a local parade, attending public safety charity events, meeting all of my friends around Morgan County, or just getting some extra belly rubs! 🐾❤️

But my most important job is being there for my Morgan County 911 family. The calls they handle can be stressful, difficult, and sometimes heartbreaking. When they need a little break, a friendly face, a wagging tail, or someone to listen without judging, I’m there! 🐶❤️

Being a 911 Support Dog isn't just about attending events—it’s about helping take care of the people who spend their days taking care of our community.
And that's why the Reggie Fund is so important! All of my care is funded out of pocket by Morgan County 911 employees, so the support from our community helps make it possible for me to continue doing what I love. 🐾

Dear Community Partners:
We have launched the new digital Home Safety Survey and are asking for the community’s help in sharing it. This survey will help residents identify potential fire hazards and improve safety conditions in their homes.

The interactive survey, accessible at firemarshal.wv.gov, is available to homeowners and renters across the state.

Our goal is to provide West Virginia families with the tools they need to protect what matters most. This survey is a quick, proactive measure that helps residents spot simple fixes—like clear escape routes or working smoke alarms—before an emergency strikes. By working together, we can reduce fire risks in every corner of our state.

Key features of the survey include:

Accessibility: A 5-minute assessment designed for any household.

Actionable guidance: Immediate safety advice based on participant responses.

Data-driven results: Survey responses assist the office in identifying and addressing community-specific fire safety trends.

The State Fire Marshal’s Office encourages all residents to complete the survey at firemarshal.wv.gov. Local fire departments can also use the tool to support community risk-reduction programs.
