Many individuals played a key role—both directly and behind the scenes—in shaping the Kendall County Commissioners' unanimous 5-0 vote to reject the motion to place the formation of the Bergheim Emergency Services District (ESD No. 1) on the May 2025 ballot.

A special thank you to Max Langenberg, The Texas Examiner, and Maxie Zinsmeister for their efforts.

🚨 URGENT: Bergheim ESD DISCUSSION – What You NEED to Know! 🚨 "The Impact of ESD on County Services"

Should Kendall County approve an Emergency Services District (ESD) for Bergheim? 🤔 Jon Tipton and Maxie Zinsmeister break down the real impact of this proposal in a candid discussion about higher taxes, government overreach, and why this decision is being rushed.
📢 KEY POINTS:❌ The ESD proposal was already rejected by voters in 2022 (54% NO, 46% YES).💰 Kendall County will spend $25,000 just to hold the election.⚠️ Once an ESD is created, more special districts can be added without voter approval—meaning higher taxes and more bureaucracy!📝 The county is conducting a fire services survey—why not wait for those results before making a decision?
🚨 ACTION NEEDED:📅 Attend the Commissioners Court Meeting – February 11, 2025📩 Sign the petition: https://www.ipetitions.com/petition/oppose-Bergheim-esd-on-may-2025-ballot📲 Stay informed! Follow on Facebook or DM us for more info.

🚨 Bergheim is part of Kendall County—shouldn’t fire protection planning be countywide?
Jon Tipton and Max Langenberg discussed how an ESD in one area could lead to uncoordinated service expansion and additional districts without voter consent.
🔹 ESD today, how many special districts tomorrow?🔹 No countywide plan = More taxes & inefficiencies.🔹 $25K for an election before fire survey results?
Let’s take a strategic approach—not a rushed one. Email your Commissioners and join us at the February 11th hearing!
