During Berea Rotary's tour of the Madison County Animal Shelter a few weeks ago, we were informed by the Madison County Judge Executive that presenting the Fiscal Court with a petition was the most effective way to get the court to consider getting the shelter the resources it desperately needs. Services offered (CASH ONLY):
Annual shots – FREE
Rabies vaccine – $10
Bordetella – $30
Microchipping – $26.50 (Exact change preferred. If you’d like, extra change can be donated to the Madison County Animal Shelter to help support their work.)

Dogs, cats, and ferrets must be leashed or in carriers.

This is the last vaccination clinic sponsored by the Madison County Health Department for 2025. The event will be held rain or shine! 🌧️☀️

This week Berea Rotary was hosted and given a tour of the Madison County Animal Shelter. Special thanks to Shelter Director Sissy Sloan and Madison County Judge Executive Reagan Taylor for giving us a guided tour and providing a plethora of information about the shelter. One thing is for certain, there are no shortage of dogs that desperately need good and loving homes. They are waiting to become a part of your family! It makes good sense--we pay less than $10 for a 24-count case of mac-n-cheese and well below wholesale for all the rest, too. Purchasing nearly everything means we can consistently supply our clients with a healthy, nutritious diet.

Had a wonderful time this morning attending the 1st Annual "Bagel Boogie" 2-mile race benefiting the Madison County Animal Shelter. Huge congratulations to Laura Wick, Katie Startzman, and all the volunteers who brought the event to life. A big shoutout as well to Sissy Slone and Kyra Soto from the Madison County Animal Shelter, who were on hand with several dogs looking for their fur-ever homes. I'm happy to report that a few did, in fact, go home with new families today!
