Saline Crossing Chapter, NSDAR, Honors First Responders

Throughout the month of September, the Saline Crossing Chapter, National Daughters of the American Revolution, has been distributing more than 600 hand decorated keepsake boxes to First Responders serving Saline County. Belinda Jones, chapter Regent, reports that the boxes are a tangible way of showing that our members appreciate the hard work and dedication shown by our Saline County First Responders. Boxes were presented to law enforcement, fireman, emergency dispatchers, the Army National Guard, and nurses.
