This past weekend Brothers attended the St Patrick’s Day 5k and Fun Run in Benton 🏃‍♂️☘️ From collecting time trackers, prepping medals, and Brothers participating in the race we were proud to support!

Saline County’s African American history runs deep, stretching back to the county’s founding in 1835. From the 416 enslaved individuals and two free Black citizens recorded in 1838 to the 142 residents in 1880 whose surnames still anchor our community today, this legacy is one of resilience and endurance.

This past Thursday with alongside members of Saline Alpha Alpha Rho Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority IncSaline AKAsaline_akas honored that history through action. Our brothers spent the day sorting and organizing the local pantry a contribute to the long tradition of community care that has defined Saline County for nearly two centuries
