Happy Veterans Day!
BCHS YAF would like to thank all the brave men and women who have served our country. Freedom isn’t free — thank you to all who’ve served and sacrificed for ours.

I would also like to thank all the veterans who showed up for our Veterans Day Celebration breakfast and ceremony yesterday. It was an honor to meet all of you, and we thank you for everything you have done for this country.

Finally, I would like to give a heads-up that BCHS YAF will soon start donating money to help some veterans go to Washington, D.C., on an Honor Flight. An Honor Flight is an amazing opportunity for us to honor and thank veterans who have served our country. We will let you know when we start donating money, and any donations during that time would be greatly appreciated.

Benton High School is proud to honor our veterans with a special Veterans Day Celebration on November 10th. The day will begin with a delicious breakfast at 8:30 AM, providing an opportunity for the community to gather and express gratitude to those who have served. Following breakfast, the celebration will continue at 9:30 AM in the Rich Herrin Gym, where attendees can participate in a heartfelt ceremony dedicated to acknowledging the sacrifices and contributions of our veterans. Everyone is encouraged to join this meaningful event to show appreciation and support for the brave men and women who have served our country.

Thank you to everyone who helped us put up all these flags to remember the tragic incident that happened on this day 24 years ago, a day America will never forget.

A true patriot was lost today. Charlie Kirk inspired many and will be deeply missed. He was a father, a husband, and a son. His legacy will live on.

Our Nation has become divided to the point where we now see one another as enemies. This division has gone on for too long and will only continue to get worse unless something is done. We need to stop seeing each other as enemies and instead recognize one another Americans. We are all meant to be united, but instead we continue to grow further apart. The violence has endured far too long and has now resulted in the passing of a truly great man and patriot.

May God be with his family, friends, and all those affected by his passing.

THIS TUESDAY!

We would like to invite all Veterans to the Veterans Day Celebration being hosted at Benton Consolidated High School on November 12th.

- Breakfast at 8:30 AM in the BCHS Commons.

- Ceremony at 9:30 AM in the Rich Herrin Gymnasium.

All Veterans, Guests, and Spectators will need to enter through the main entrance of BCHS.

Note: Veterans do not need to RSVP, all you have to do is show up!

Veterans Day Celebration

UPDATE: We have decided to move the ceremony inside to the Rich Herrin Gymnasium, following the breakfast service.

We would again like to welcome ALL Veterans to attend. Sheets to mark you're planning to attend have been dropped off at the Benton VFW/Legion, Benton Elks, and Benton Eagles. You can also let us know you will be attending by going to the Veterans Day Celebration event and marking it or sending us a message/comment.

- Breakfast will start at 8:30 AM in the BCHS Commons (Main Entrance)
- Ceremony will start at 9:30 AM in the Rich Herrin Gymnasium.
