Huge news for our little town!! Please help us welcome The Upper Room!

Hello everyone! We are Mike and Melissa Czyz. We are so excited to invite you on this journey with us! Melissa and I took a leap of Faith this Spring and bought a 115 year old building in Bennet, NE. It is awesome you guys! Our plan is to turn this historical building into an event venue - and also carve out a space for me to work on leather projects and teach leather working classes, which I love! We will start sharing pictures of the history of the building, ideas we have for the space, and any "challenges" we face along the way. Thank you for following us and let us know what you think!

Some things to note:
Not all local businesses wanted to be listed. If you think a business is missing, please contact the owner of that business and have them reach out to Lillie Chambers or Barbie Bruss to be added to this list.
This list will be updated every few months and pinned to the top of this page, the Bennet Bulletin, and the Bennet and Surrounding Area Small Business Page.
We will spotlight 7 businesses per month on our social media channels.
Please go through this 3 page list and follow all of the local businesses listed! You will notice some businesses that are based outside of Bennet but directly impact, or support, the citizens of Bennet. 🙂
**If your business is listed and the information is not correct, please message Lillie Chambers.
**If you want your business listed, please reach out to Lillie Chambers or Barbie Bruss to be added.
A BIG shoutout to the Bennet Economic Development Association (BEDA) for tackling this project!

❤️ For Lexi. For Bennet. For the community she loved.

We are incredibly grateful to the Nebraska Community Blood Bank and its Hometown Heroes Program for donating $1,000 to the Bennet Economic Development Association (BEDA) following the Alexis Calfee Blood Drive this Summer.

These funds will go right back into our community to help beautify Bennet and make our little town an even better place to call home — something we know Lexi would have loved. 🌸

The Alexis Calfee Blood Drive continues to turn Lexi’s memory into something that gives back, brings people together and makes a difference.

Thank you to everyone who donated blood, volunteered, supported the drive and continues to help us honor Lexi. Her impact is still being felt throughout Bennet. ❤️

Thank You Todd & Jaimi.
