These cookies are a new addition this year to Elktoberfest. The recipe is over 100 years old (just like our beloved school) with simple ingredients including baker's ammonia, rose water, flour, eggs, sugar and vanilla. If you love a "not so sweet" sugar cookie then this is definitely for you! See you Saturday, Oct.11th!!

This year our school is 120 yrs old. To celebrate we are going to add something new and unexpected to Elktoberfest this year. Have you ever eaten a cookie whose ingredients include baker's ammonia and rose water? Along with eggs, flour, salt and vanilla it is a recipe my family (Bridget Rucki) has enjoyed for many years. Step back in time and enjoy a cookie that might have been included in a sack lunch over 100 years ago! We'll also be serving up Leigh Ann's delicious chili along with homemade chicken noodle soup, our jumbo hot dogs and our pork sandwiches smoked to perfection by committee member Frank Rucki. Hoping to see you all on Saturday, Oct.11th. Mark your calendars!
