Amber just wanted to show off her cute little fall sweater. 🍂🥰 What do we think?!

It’s hard to believe that just a few weeks ago, this sweet girl was living in a high-risk shelter in Oklahoma. Now she’s soaking up foster life, getting all the love she deserves, and looking pretty adorable while doing it.

We think foster life looks pretty good on her, but a forever home would look even better! Apply to adopt Amber at StreetDogHero.org

Can’t commit to adopting or fostering but still want to make a difference? We need VOLUNTEER DOG WALKERS at our rescue in Bend!

Our pups LOVE getting out of their kennels to explore new smells, stretch their legs, and soak up some one-on-one attention. We have dog walking shifts available 7 days a week, mornings and evenings!

Want to spend even more time with a pup? Sign up for our Hero for a Day program! Take a rescue dog hiking, on a coffee run, or just home to hang out on your couch. Even a few hours away from the kennel can make a HUGE difference in their day and help them get one step closer to adoption!

Whether you have an hour or a whole day to spare, our dogs would LOVE to spend it with you!

Sign up at StreetDogHero.org or email [email protected]!

$5 FRIDAY‼️ At 15 years young, Nana Lily has been through A LOT. This week, she came into our care after her owner faced the heartbreaking reality of losing her housing. Knowing Lily needed stability and ongoing medical care, she made the difficult decision to surrender her to us.

This sweet girl has quite the medical history. She has heart disease, a collapsing trachea, arthritis, chronic dry eye, and only a few teeth left. She’s mostly blind and deaf, and X-rays showed that she had a BULLET in her side. 💔

But despite everything, Nana Lily is one hilarious little lady! She’s spunky, sweet, full of personality, and LOVES rolling in freshly cut grass and snuggling up on a heated blanket.

Our Medical Director has welcomed Nana Lily into her home, where she’ll spend her remaining days surrounded by love and all the care she needs.

We don’t know how much time Nana Lily has left, but we’re going to make every single day count.

This $5 Friday, will you help us cover Nana Lily’s medications, veterinary care, and everything she needs to live out her golden days comfortably? Even $5 makes a huge difference!
