It’s kinda chic to know where your food comes from.

To choose berries grown by local farmers instead of fruit from a supply chain you’ll never meet. To fill your pantry with something made slowly, by hand, in small batches.

Our jam is made in a nonprofit cannery with one simple purpose: create more opportunities for local farmers while helping build a stronger, more connected food community.

Even this photo is part of that story—captured by a talented local photographer who shares our love for beautiful food and the people behind it.

We believe supporting local isn’t just about what you buy. It’s about investing in the growers, the makers, the artists, and the neighbors who make a community worth calling home.

It’s also kinda chic to buy from our local retailers—supporting the small shops that bring these jars to your neighborhood shelves.

If that’s becoming a , we’re here for it. ❤️

There really is something special about these jars. 💚

This week, we processed hundreds of pre-loved canning jars that were returned or donated to the cannery, giving each one a second life.

✨ Old labels removed
✨Jars scrubbed and inspected
✨ Thoroughly washed
✨ Put through a multi-step sanitization process

Before they’re filled again, each jar is paired with brand-new lids and rings to ensure a safe, reliable seal.

To us, this is what community looks like.

It’s neighbors helping neighbors. It’s reducing waste on a hyper-local scale. It’s keeping perfectly good glass in circulation instead of the recycling bin. And it’s one of the ways our community helps keep cannery costs down, making local food preservation more accessible for everyone.

So before you recycle your canning jars, consider giving them another life. Save them, return them, or donate them to your local cannery.

Because sometimes the most ordinary things can have the biggest impact. 💚
