🏳️‍🌈 Find NAMI Central Oregon at PrideFest this Saturday, June 6, from 12:00–3:00 PM!

We're proud to celebrate alongside the LGBTQ+ community and connect people with mental health resources, support, and hope. LGBTQ+ individuals experience mental health challenges at higher rates, often due to stigma, discrimination, and barriers to care. That's one reason it's so important for NAMI to show up—not just during Pride, but all year long.

Stop by our booth to say hello, learn about our free programs, pick up resources, and help us build a community where everyone feels seen, supported, and valued.
We can't wait to celebrate with you! 🌈💙

NAMI Central Oregon was pleased to present a StigmaFree Workplace session to the leadership of Council on Aging of Central Oregon including canine companion, Tank, who joined our circle to provide emotional support.

NAMI’s StigmaFree Workplace provides no-cost resources and tools to create judgment-free, supportive workplaces where employees can talk about mental health and get help. Beyond the presentation, we open a dialogue so staff can share openly and keep the conversation going inside their organization long after we’ve left.

Proud to highlight NAMI Central Oregon’s Programs and Community Manager Devon Nelson Harmon — recently interviewed by Central Oregon Daily about her work as running coach for the Crook County Recovery Run Club.

Devon coached a team of runners in recovery for Redmond’s Conquer the Canyon race this weekend, showing how movement and community support fuel recovery.

The Crook County Recovery Run Club is helping people in recovery build community through walking, running and time outdoors at Barnes Butte. The first session wraps up this weekend with

May was honored as Mental Health Awareness Month across Central Oregon — heartfelt thanks to the City of Bend, Oregon Government, City of Madras, Deschutes County and Crook County, Oregon for their proclamations and for leaning in with us.

These declarations lift up mental health as a community priority and help direct resources, partnerships, and attention where they're needed most.

A special moment: our youth intern, Stanley Duca, attended the City of Bend proclamation on his last day — watching him learn and witness civic action was deeply moving.

To everyone who’s linked arms with us across city and county government: your belief and partnership mean the world.

Together, we’re making our communities kinder and stronger. ❤️
