In addition to this spring’s primary recipient, we also had the opportunity to hear from three other incredible nonprofits in the area at last week’s event.

By the end of the night, they received a number of generous donations as well. Congratulations to the following organizations, and excellent job on your pitches!

Family Advocacy Center of Northern Minnesota: $500 (pictured below)
Bemidji Early Childhood Collaborative: $500
Future YMCA of Bemidji: $258

Another successful fundraiser in the books! Tonight we awarded Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women a donation of $17,000. As usual, additional funds continue to come in after the event, but we’re already thrilled with the results.

Because of the incredible women in this community, the momentum behind this event keeps growing. To date, we’ve raised over $77,000 across just five events. We’re pretty excited over here.

About the Winner: MMIW 218 is a Bemidji, Minnesota-based advocacy group dedicated to supporting families of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women (Relatives).Named for the 218 area code, they raise awareness, host annual conferences, organize walks, and help families navigate the search for loved ones, advocating against systemic violence affecting Indigenous communities. Congratulations!

A huge thank you to the 150+ women who showed up and to everyone who helps make these events possible.

Mark your calendars for our next event on November 19, 2026.

All are welcome to attend the final check presentation on Monday at 10:30 AM

We're one night away from our event!

100+ Women | 1 Hour | $10,000+ Raised

Reminder!
You don’t need to sign up in advance. For $100 (cash/check), each attendee can nominate a 501(c)(3) nonprofit to be the recipient of $10,000+. Four nonprofits will be selected at random, each organization will have 3 minutes to tell the group about their cause! At the end of the night attendees will vote for one nonprofit to take home the grand total! If $20,000+ is raised, the funds will be split and awarded to two separate nonprofits that night.

The first 100+ Women Who Care fundraiser of 2026 in Bemidji will be taking place next Thursday, Apr. 30 at the SouthShore Hotel. Cocktails and a social hour start at 5 p.m., and the giving and voting process is set to go from 6 to 7.

When 100 people come together to donate $100 each, we raise $10,000 — profoundly impacting a nonprofit in our community. In the case of Bemidji, each event has generated more than the original $10,000 goal — a strong statement about the generosity of this community.
