Another successful fundraiser in the books! Tonight we awarded Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women a donation of $17,000. As usual, additional funds continue to come in after the event, but we’re already thrilled with the results.
Because of the incredible women in this community, the momentum behind this event keeps growing. To date, we’ve raised over $77,000 across just five events. We’re pretty excited over here.
About the Winner: MMIW 218 is a Bemidji, Minnesota-based advocacy group dedicated to supporting families of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women (Relatives).Named for the 218 area code, they raise awareness, host annual conferences, organize walks, and help families navigate the search for loved ones, advocating against systemic violence affecting Indigenous communities. Congratulations!
A huge thank you to the 150+ women who showed up and to everyone who helps make these events possible.
Mark your calendars for our next event on November 19, 2026.
All are welcome to attend the final check presentation on Monday at 10:30 AM
