The Texas Nurses Association (TNA) District 7 invites nurses, nursing students, healthcare professionals, community organizations, policymakers, and EVERYONE invested in the health of our communities to the 2026 Central Texas Nursing & Stakeholder Policy Summit!

📅 Monday, November 2, 2026 — ONE DAY BEFORE ELECTION DAY!
That's intentional.
Because the political determinants of health remind us that decisions made in legislative chambers, boardrooms, and voting booths have real consequences for the people and communities we serve.
And because meaningful change requires more than awareness. It requires participation, partnership, and coordinated action.

In recognition of Mental Illness Awareness Week, Texas Nurses Association District 7 welcomes Stacy Payuk McColl, MSN, RN, CARN, Outreach Specialist with the Texas Peer Assistance Program for Nurses (TPAPN), for an important conversation about mental health, substance use, stigma, and pathways to support within our profession.
