The Cultural Inclusion Team is on the move. We have been taking some field trips into the community to explore and get more comfortable doing daily tasks in English. Tonight we stopped by Plum Creek and owner Brett Wichers was kind enough to use the Google Translate Photo feature that allows you to take a photo of anything and translate it instantly. He gave us a Spanish menu and we all had a delicious meal! We are exploring many different areas of Beloit, if you see us out in public please feel free to introduce yourself! Tonight we talked about the Glen Elder Lake and planned a visit!

We celebrated our second Cultural Inclusion Team "Mexi-Kan" Christmas at the farm. We started with mini-cows, and ended with pizza, Mexican candy and games! I am so thankful for the people who show up twice a month for English lessons, cultural education, and found familia!

MC RISE had an incredible day yesterday giving away almost two trailers full of donated toys to area parents and wrapping them for Christmas! This is going to have to be an annual event, we all left with very full cups!
We would like to thank everyone for donations, Max Thomas for use of his trailer and donation of the alcohol, the Beloit Chamber of Commerce for including us, and everyone who came to shop!
