Lizz Casey NWBR

Lizz Casey NWBR Counselor, advocate, educator for the past 10 years working with homeowners to buy a home, save their home, or stay at home as they age.

These past ten years have given me some great opportunities to work with a wide variety of people. The range has been from families large and small, singles and everything in between. Many come from cities but there has been no shortage of those from towns and rural communities. Whether guiding first timers through the home buying process, advocating for the homeowner trying to save the home they

have built a life in, or advising an aging homeowner on ways to stay in their home long term, my specialties have proven to be an great asset to all. I look forward to working with many more families, individuals and everyone else in between.

As black history month comes to a close, we invite you to celebrate and honor another great leader. Clarance Givhan, a Beloit native, was a strong community leader and activist who frequently gave back to the community, creating a profound impact here locally. Just one of Clarance’s great and lasting achievements was leading the foundation of Neighborhood Housing Services of Beloit, now known as NeighborWorks Blackhawk Region. 🏡

Clarance knew the importance of investing time, energy, and money into neighborhoods and the residence who needed it most. Although the day-to-day work has changed and morphed with the ebb and flow of time, the mission we hold dear to our hearts is still the same. We are committed to helping build a community where everyone can thrive. ✨
