City of Arlington Police Department Launches Civic Informer Public Safety Information Platform
(Arlington, WA)— The Arlington Police Department has partnered with Civic Informer to give residents a new way to follow public safety information in Arlington.
The Arlington Civic Informer site includes an interactive map of recent calls for service, allowing residents to explore activity by date or general location. To protect privacy and safety, incidents are displayed by block rather than exact address.
“Providing accessible information to our community is an important part of maintaining trust and keeping residents informed,” said Arlington Police Chief Jonathan Ventura. “Now the public can see what we respond to and where. This is a good win for the city and for the community, and I’m excited to get it in front of people.”
Residents can also subscribe to the free Arlington Daily Report, delivered by email each day, and receive urgent communications through the platform. Civic Informer provides the technology and publishing infrastructure for the Arlington site. The Arlington Police Department remains the authoritative source for official department information and records.
Because public safety information may change as incidents develop, residents seeking official case information, emergency information, or public records should continue to use the appropriate Arlington Police Department and City of Arlington channels. Civic Informer is an additional community-information resource and does not replace official emergency alerts or established public records processes.
