T-minus 5 Days until our 2026 ROTT social in the Tri-Cities!

Covering a couple of items in advance.
2026 membership dues, with proceeds supporting The Hydroplane & Raceboat Museum, as follows.
Family membership is $25
Single membership is $15.

Memberships include the 2026 ROTT official button and are welcome to attend ROTT West in early Spring 2027.
Our buttons were once again designed by the best in the business, Mr. Ron Tully!

Please be reminded that the event will be held at the Roundtable Pizza from 6:30p-8:30p. H1 schedule could delay us a bit so pray for safe racing Saturday afternoon and the entire weekend.

CELEBRATE HYDROPLANE RACING IN THE TRI!

We are down to 3 weeks before the annual Royal Order of the Turbine social event in Richland!
Plan to come celebrate another hydroplane racing season with us.
This event is open to everyone. We only ask that you purchase a single or family membership.
Proceeds from the memberships will be donated to the Hydroplane & Raceboat Museum in Kent Washington.
Event details and location;

Saturday night, July 25th, 2026.
Round Table Pizza in Richland.
1769 Leslie Road. Richland WA.
6:30 pm to 8:30 pm. Out by 9:00 pm sharp.
Please keep in mind that we could experience delays in the start, usually due to racing delays on the water Saturday afternoon.

Thinking about the Senior Family again this afternoon, and reflecting on the life of Karen, who passed away a few weeks back on March 23rd.
Karen’s participation in hydroplane racing goes way back and she served in many roles with Seafair, ROTT, and the Hydroplane & Race boat Museum. There are most likely many other organizations that enjoyed her touch too.
She was an incredibly caring person, always asking about others and how they were doing.
Karen had a fundamental understanding of how the boat racing world worked, and could articulate a great response to any question. She looked great in a Miss Burien crew uniform!
Karen was a long standing Board member with ROTT when I was welcomed to the organization. She and Bob were pivotal in providing direction and strategic guidance for the ROTT of today, and tomorrow.
Hydroplane power couple? No doubt about it!
May God bless and keep Karen close in Heaven.
Bob, we’re all thinking of you during this difficult time and the loss of your wonderful wife of 50 years.

Thanks to all that attended our ROTT West meeting in Burien March 21st.
Special thanks to Brad Haskin, who provided updates on the HARM projects, as well as plans for 2026.

We had a very curious crowd and the questions were flowing. Thanks to many of you who brought relevant insight to the discussions.

We’ve been asked about purchasing the ROTT WEST PIZZA button that was sold at the event. A big thank you to Mr. Ron Tully for designing these beautiful buttons for ROTT.

We have some left and I can get them to you if interested. First come, first served.
Cost is $12(postage paid). Just PM or email me directly(David [email protected]) to confirm address & payment terms. We’ll get them heading your way quickly.

We’re exactly one week away from our ROTT West event at the Burien Roundtable Pizza.
The event will take place from 6-9 pm on March. 21st. All welcome!
Plenty of H1 changes to discuss with everyone. 4 races, driver changes, and a new starting/points structure.
This years button, featuring Brad Haskin, will be available for sale($5).
We look forward to seeing all of you next Saturday.

We are pleased to have Brad Haskin, Executive Director of the Hydroplane & Raceboat Museum in Kent, join us as our speaker for the annual ROTT West gathering in Burien.
