Who's feeling creative? It's almost season and Harvest Fest in downtown Belleville is quickly approaching. 🍂🚜🧟

𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗲 𝗛𝗮𝗿𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗙𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲.

Enjoy the Tractor Parade ~ Harvest Market ~ Harvest Themed Activities inside and outside our Belleville Area District Library and The Belleville Area Museum .

The City of Belleville’s 2026 Scarecrow Contest is back, and we want to see what you can create!

The entry fee is just $10, and scarecrow frames will be provided by the City.

Scarecrows must be displayed at your assigned Main Street light pole by 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟵. Judging will take place during Harvest Fest on 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟭𝟬, with winners announced at the 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟭𝟵 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴.

A few important rules: your scarecrow must include some visible straw or hay, must use the City-provided frame, and no straw bales are allowed.

Start brainstorming, Belleville! We can’t wait to see Main Street filled with your creative scarecrows. 🎃🌾

Please note: Belleville City Hall will be closed Monday, September 7, in observance of Labor Day.
