Kingdom of the Sun FC is seeking qualified, dedicated coaches to join our competitive travel program. We currently have coaching opportunities available for the following boys teams:
• U17 Boys (2009–2011 Birth Years)
We are looking for an experienced coach capable of developing advanced players in a competitive environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, a firm understanding of player development, and the ability to lead a disciplined, high-performing team.

Qualifications & Expectations:
• Prior coaching or playing experience preferred
• Positive leadership and professionalism
• Commitment to training, matchdays, and player development
• Alignment with the club’s mission and values

Due to the rain and field closures, we are rescheduling our upcoming tryouts to ensure every player gets a safe, fair, and competitive opportunity. Thank you for your understanding!

Kingdom of the Sun FC – Coaching Positions Available

🦁 Kingdom of the Sun FC — Important Roster Update 🌞⚽️

As we finalize our teams for the upcoming season, we want to share some clarity about our league’s roster rules. The league only allows us to roster a limited number of players for game days in each age division:

📌 2009–2011 Division: Up to 18 players
📌 2012–2014 Division: Up to 18 players
📌 2015–2017 Division: Up to 16 players

Because of these rules, not every player who tries out will be able to be placed on a game-day roster this season. We know this can be disappointing, and we want families to know that our goal is always to create opportunities for growth, development, and future success.

🌱 If a child doesn’t make a team this season, we will be holding another round of tryouts for the Fall season at the end of our Spring season. We strongly encourage players to keep training, improving, and working toward being part of the team in the future — growth takes time, and effort always pays off.

👟 Practice Roster & Alternate Opportunities
For players who are right on the cusp of making the team, we may offer a spot on our practice roster, with the opportunity to be an alternate or fill-in player when rostered players are unavailable. These opportunities will be offered on a case-by-case basis, depending on player readiness and team needs.

We appreciate every player who comes out and gives their best. Thank you for supporting our vision and helping build something special here in Marion County. 💛🦁

🦁 TRYOUTS COMPLETE — AND THE FUTURE IS BRIGHT! 🌞⚽️

Day 2 of Kingdom of the Sun FC tryouts was absolutely fantastic. The effort, the determination, and the passion every player brought tonight showed us that this community is ready for something big.

With both days now complete, one thing is crystal clear: the future of this club is in incredible hands.
We saw players pushing themselves, encouraging teammates, and showing exactly what it means to compete with heart. The foundation has been set — not just for strong teams, but for a culture built on commitment, growth, and pride.

To all the players and families who came out: thank you. You are helping build the beginning of a club that will make South Marion County proud.

🔥 And remember — not all teams are finalized yet!
We are still looking for amazing players to join us. If you missed tryouts or want to be evaluated, reach out to schedule a private workout. There is still room for dedicated players ready to take the next step.

🦁 DAY 1 OF TRYOUTS = A HUGE SUCCESS! 🌞⚽️

What an incredible first day for Kingdom of the Sun FC! The energy, the talent, the effort — everything exceeded our expectations. From the moment players stepped onto the field, it was clear that something special is being built right here in our community.

We saw hustle, teamwork, attitude, and a level of passion that makes us even more excited for the future of this club. Thank you to every player and every family who showed up and gave their best today — you set the tone for what this program is going to become.

🔥 Day 2 is Today from 6:00–8:30 PM at Belleview Sportsplex!
Players only need to attend one session, so if you missed today, don’t worry — tomorrow is your chance!

We’re launching new travel soccer teams (U10–U17) for the 2025–2026 season, and we’re looking for dedicated, development-focused coaches to help build this program from the ground up.

Our Mission
Create a real pathway from recreational to competitive play, develop confident and skilled players, and provide high-level soccer opportunities right here in South Marion County. ⚽
