🇺🇸⚜️ A HUGE thank you to Sheriff Sampsell for taking the time to come speak with Troop 35 and Troop 34 at our meeting last night!

Our Scouts had a great opportunity to learn more about the role of the Sheriff’s Office and, most importantly, discuss our constitutional rights and freedoms. Sheriff Sampsell shared his knowledge and experiences, answered questions, and helped our Scouts better understand the Constitution and their rights and responsibilities as citizens.

We truly appreciate him taking the time to spend the evening with our Scouts and support Scouting in our community. These are the kinds of conversations that help our Scouts learn, grow, and become responsible members of their communities.

Thank you, Sheriff Sampsell, for investing your time in our Scouts! 🇺🇸👏

Last weekend, Troop 35 headed to Gettysburg for an awesome weekend of camping, history, hiking, and learning! We camped at Caledonia State Park, visited the Gettysburg museum, and explored the historic battlefield. The Scouts hiked the Billy Yank Trail, Johnny Reb Trail, and Historic Gettysburg Trail. We even stopped at Mr. Ed's Elephant Museum & Candy Emporium for some sweet treats and a little sightseeing!

Last week, the Scouts of Troop 35 had an incredible week at Camp Conestoga!

Our Scouts challenged themselves by working hard to earn merit badges, showed off their creativity and teamwork during the campfire skit, and embraced the fun by participating in the Swampathon.

It was a week filled with learning, adventure, laughter, and memories that will last a lifetime. We're so proud of all of our Scouts for stepping outside their comfort zones, supporting one another, and living the Scout Oath and Law throughout the week.

Great job, Troop 35! We can't wait to see where your next adventure takes you! ⚜️🏕️🔥💚

Troop 35 had an amazing time horseback riding with Nittany Mountain Trail Rides! 🐴☀️

Our girls had a wonderful experience earning their Horsemanship Merit Badge while learning more about horse care, riding skills, and building confidence along the trails. One of the highlights was getting to bond with the horses, spend time caring for them, and even feeding them!

It was a memorable day filled with adventure, learning, teamwork, and lots of smiles. Thank you to the team at Nittany Mountain Trail Rides for making it such a fun and meaningful experience—we had a fantastic time and can’t wait for our next adventure!
