Welcome to the Tennessee/Kentucky Wildland Fire Academy page.
The academy is a true interagency cooperative. There are seven partners that have put forth the effort to build the Southeast’s most elite academy. This partnership has been built voluntarily from the strong desire to see employees trained to fulfill agency needs.
The cooperation between all the agencies is considered a great accomplishment. The shared contributions of the agencies involved have led to the academy continuing for over 20 years. The academy has been a success from the outset.
The academy has provided a platform for students across the nation to interact and exchange information.
Beyond all this, the biggest accomplishment is delivering high quality training to thousands of students.
