At the 2026 Bee Buzz Run, a beautiful quilt created by Diane Swartzlander, was presented to run director Dan Policky for his organization, passion, dedication and time given to this Run for the past 16 years. The quilt, made from all 15 shirts represents the first 15 years of the Buzz Run. It was very well done and very well appreciated Diane!

Hello! My name is Kayla Luebbe and my family lives in Bee. I was a part of the first buzz run and various other ones over the years! I'm currently playing basketball overseas in Portugal. Just wanted to share a photo that the Buzz Run shirt made it all the way to the southwesternmost point of Europe, in Portugal. Have a wonderful day! If you've ran our earlier Bee Buzz Runs, you've seen this guy, Dan Kouma Sr. entertaining you with the Nebraska Fight song or maybe In Heaven There Is No Beer polka on our course. Some of you even danced your way through the intersection! He was truly a "gem" and added so much to the spirit of our Run. Sadly, Uncle passed away this week. He will truly be missed. Please keep him and his family in your thoughts and prayers.

We were saddened to hear that Jim Young from Milford, one of our faithful runners and supporters of our Bee Buzz Run had passed away last November. He was 91 and has been an award winner in his age group for many years. Jim loved our buffet breakfasts and always said that he had to earn his breakfast by running our run prior to eating. We will miss Jim but he will be with us in spirit. Please keep him and his wife, Elna and his family in your thoughts.

This years Bee Buzz Run shirt made it all the way to Bonita Beach in the Ft. Meyers, Florida area! 75 degrees there while it was 3 degrees here! Brrr.
