Gators Volleyball Club Girls Junior Olympic Volleyball club in Bedford, MA. Member of NERVA and USAV. We are very proud of our highly experienced and well-trained coaching staff.

Gators Volleyball Club is a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation dedicated to teaching volleyball through a positive coaching philosophy and state-of-the-art teaching methods. Gators Volleyball teams compete in the USAV Junior Olympic Volleyball program through the New England Regional Volleyball Association (NERVA). Aside from being fine players in their own right, our coaches know that the w

ay we were taught isn’t always the best way to teach. Volleyball has changed a lot in recent years, and it continues to change. At Gators Volleyball Club, our coaches embrace these changes and eagerly continue to learn the latest developments in the game. This constant quest for learning also affects how we coach. The latest research on how people learn a sport like volleyball tells us that learning is very context-specific and task-specific. This means our coaches know how important it is to make practice activities as gamelike as possible and to maximize each player’s meaningful interactions with the ball. That’s why we discourage traditional 2-person pepper and will not waste a player’s time by running laps around the gym. Most importantly, Gators Volleyball coaches never forget that we are coaching people (not just volleyball players), and our success as coaches is measured in how many of our players come back to play again next year.

Congrats to Gators Club Director Frank Gardner for being selected to the inaugural class of the Jim Stone Rising Coach Fellowship!! 🐊💛

In his 21 years of leadership here at Gators, Director Frank has endlessly demonstrated the exact values embodied by the fellowship: a commitment to learning, mentorship, and continuous growth.

The fellowship program, developed by The Art of Coaching Volleyball, JVA Volleyball, and Regional Volleyball Association Assembly, is named in honor of the late Coach Jim Stone. It is designed to carry forward his legacy by supporting the next generation of coaches who are dedicated to improving their craft and making a positive impact on the athletes and community they serve.

Director Frank will be the head coach of the 16 National team for the 2026-27 club season!

Girls club volleyball fall tryout registration is underway! 🏐

National team spots available at the U12-U15 and U17-18 age groups. Regional team spots available at all age groups U12-U18.

Club volleyball season runs November 2026 - May 2027. National teams practice 2x per week, regional teams practice 1x per week. Practice locations in Concord, Billerica, Littleton MA.
