On January 13th, 2025, our family’s world became less bright when Tiffany Saari Henderson unexpectedly passed away at the age of 35 due to an intracerebral hemorrhage. Tiffany leaves behind her young son, Treyden Saari, known in the community by his nickname, “Tuukka”. She married Derek Henderson in September 2023, and his love and support for both Tiffany and Treyden is evident.
Treyden had received a tie dye kit for his 5th birthday. It quickly became a hobby, with him making shirts for friends and family. He soon began getting requests and, with the diligent help of Tiffany, Treyden, took that hobby and became the established business owner of "Tie Dye by Tuukka" which has been in business for 3 years. Aside from his talent and work ethic, his generosity toward his community is demonstrated by the fact that he donates ½ of his net proceeds to local charities and causes.
Treyden is currently enrolled at Everett Elementary School and actively participates in sports, including soccer, basketball, and baseball.
Treyden was the center of Tiffany’s life. As a devoted single mother, Tiffany ensured that Treyden was surrounded by love from family, friends, and coaches, which, once meeting him, comes very easily. When meeting folks for the first time, Treyden is always ready with a firm handshake and a sincere “How are you” as he looks you in the eye, which is uncommon in many of today’s young people.
Tiffany was truly the glue that held her family together. She had a deep passion for her family and friends. She took it upon herself to babysit her much younger cousins, forming strong bonds with each of them. Over the past few years, Tiffany was also a primary caregiver for her mother, who suffers from severe dementia. In addition to being an outstanding daughter, mother and wife, she worked full-time at the Veterinary Medical Center where she was often one of the first people you would have encountered when entering the facility. Her welcoming smile and caring demeanor left a lasting impression on everyone who met her.
As Tiffany’s friends, family, and colleagues struggle to find a new normal without her, it’s important to recognize that Treyden must now navigate life without his most significant person since day one. The community has reached out to the family wanting to support Treyden with future expenses and endeavors. A trust has been established at Altoona First Savings Bank in his name.
