Tonight was a blessing.
The men and women of Remnant Recovery had the opportunity to travel to Knoxville, Tennessee, and enjoy a great evening of fellowship at the ballpark alongside Fountain of Hope Ministries with Pastor Roy and Shana McGee, Amazing Grace Ministries with Pastor Chris and Amber Kitzman, along with ignite ministries pastor Brandon and his lovely wife, Nora and many other brothers and sisters in Christ.
As I looked around tonight, I was reminded of something important: unity brings joy, strength, and life. When ministries, churches, and believers come together for one purpose—to glorify God and help people—we accomplish so much more than we ever could alone. Division creates confusion and chaos, but unity creates an atmosphere where people can heal, grow, and encounter God.
My heart was heavy knowing there were a few gentlemen who were supposed to be with us tonight but were unable to come because of division. That breaks my heart because fellowship, relationships, and shared experiences are gifts from God. But even in that, I trust that God is in control, working all things together for His good purposes.
Tonight was more than a baseball game. It was a reminder that the Kingdom of God is bigger than any one ministry, church, or individual. We were never called to compete with one another—we were called to stand together, encourage one another, and advance the Kingdom side by side.
Thank you to everyone who made tonight possible. The laughter, conversations, fellowship, and memories made tonight are something we’ll carry with us for a long time.
“How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity!” — Psalm 133:1
And let us remember:
“Make every effort to keep yourselves united in the Spirit, binding yourselves together with peace.” — Ephesians 4:3
Lord, help us to choose unity over division, love over offense, and purpose over pride. May we continue to work together for Your glory and for the lives You have called us to serve. Amen.
