D-CAN Fundraiser to Start Soon!

Starting Monday, July 19, 2021 D-CAN will kick off our annual A Community Thrives (ACT) fundraiser sponsored by the St. Cloud Times’ Gannett Foundation. We want to go bigger yet this year and have applied for a sizeable grant as part of this community building campaign. We can earn extra “bonus grant” dollars by getting more individual donors than other participating nonprofits. Last year they did award us a smaller grant amount as we were brand new and without the experience like we have had at the DRC so far this year.
Our first 30 DRC visits have gone very well so far with some good feedback and some repeat consultations as we gain the confidence of our community dementia clinician colleagues. A successful fundraiser now would give us a good start as we move from Whitney Center into our CentraCare-donated office space soon.

The ACT campaign starts Monday, July 19 through mid-August (just one month) and we only get “bonus grant” credit for donations made through our ACT landing page. I will post the landing page link here on July 19. Please watch for it and donate to help us on our mission to improve access to quality dementia care in our community.
We will also participate in the virtual online 2021 Expo for Seniors coming soon. The link to this event can be found at Expo for Seniors | St. Cloud Expo for Seniors . See the ad below that we will post for the Expo.
