Faces of Far Point - Part one
If you've been a friend to Far Point for some time, then this guy should be no stranger!

Silver Storm 🌧️
Silver has been a permanent resident of Far Point for many years. Before his relocation to our organization, Silver had a career competing in horse shows all over the country. He won ribbons and titles and traveled all over.

Unfortunately, Silver's career came to an end when he contracted bacterial Uveitis causing him to permanently lose vision in both eyes.

Things are much different now for Silver. Without sight, he relies solely on his hearing, smell and internal instincts to navigate his way through life. Silver LOVES the people that take care of him & they love him! When Silver hears the barn door open in the morning his ears and face perk up with excitement. We have a lot of people ask us if Silver can go out to the pasture and the answer is YES! It's pretty amazing how resilient horses can be. We currently don't have a turn out solution at our new facility that is SAFE for Silver. But don't worry, we're working on it!
