Wanted to post this out a little early for thing we plan to have going on in the upcoming months for winter season.
Th Green Bin Project Donations drive!!
A month to donate to the less fortunate or people really in need of a little help and support!
Anything helps out!!

What we need:
ITEMS ALLOWED GLOVES HATS SCARF SOCKS/UNDERWEAR
• JACKETS/COATS SLEEPING BAG/EMERGENCY BLANKET BACKPACK

I will keep you all posted when the time comes out closer and discuss the drop off information and all the last minute details you will need to know!

Fill free to ask me any further questions on this Project our YAB is putting together.
The actual start date for when we set up is still to be determined, but will for sure start in December!

Project Connect Lincoln is a free one-stop event for people who are experiencing financial hardship or homelessness. Health services, social services, employment assistance, legal services, bike repairs, services for Veterans, and much more!!! No IDs or documents required to enter. Free childcare available while parents attend the event.

💕Free pet services will be available at Project Connect Lincoln including vaccines, grooming, microchips, and basic veterinary care. Project Connect is an event for people in Lincoln & Lancaster County experiencing homelessness or financial hardship:
Wednesday, September 30, 2026 from 9am-3pm at
Pinnacle Bank Arena.
Please note that animals need to be brought to the event in a crate or pet carrier if the owner wants to attend the event. Crates will NOT be available at the pet care booth. If the owner does not want to attend the rest of the event, and will stay with their pet the whole time, dogs can be brought on a leash or in a crate/ carrier. All cats or other types of animals still need to be in a crate/ carrier/ appropriate container.
