Psalm 1:1 “Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked.”

Every man is being influenced by somebody.

Your buddies. Your coworkers. Social media. Television. Your boss. Your family. The people you spend time with.

The question isn't whether you're being influenced. The question is: Who is influencing you?

The wrong voices can slowly change the way you think about marriage, money, success, s*x, family, and what it means to be a man.

God says a wise man pays attention to the voices he allows into his life.

Stop and think about this: Pay attention today to what you're listening to and who you're allowing to shape your decisions.

Are the people closest to you making you a better man or pulling you in the wrong direction? Let's make that decision today on who you let into your life.

Proverbs 27:17 “As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.”

Every man needs somebody who has his back.

But more than that, you need somebody who will tell you the truth. Not the guy who always agrees with you.

The guy who will say, “Brother, you're screwing this up.”
The guy who will call when he knows you're struggling.
The guy who will challenge you to be a better husband, father, friend and man.
The guy who will stand beside you when life gets hard.

That's what this verse is talking about.

Men aren't made stronger by doing everything alone. We're made stronger by doing life with other men who are willing to challenge and encourage us.

Find a few good men. Walk with them. Be honest with them. Have their backs. Let them have yours.

Stop and think about this: Think of one man in your life who makes you better. Call him today and tell him you appreciate him. Now, think of another man that you can have their back. Be there for him.

Joshua 1:9 “Be strong and courageous… for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

Let's be honest; being a man isn't always easy.

You're expected to provide. Lead. Make decisions. Take care of your family. Show up when you're tired. Keep going when you're worried. And sometimes, you're expected to have all the answers when you don't have a clue what to do next.

Joshua was facing that same kind of pressure. God didn't tell him, “Don't be afraid.” He told him to be strong and courageous because He would be with him.
That's an important difference.

Courage doesn't mean you aren't afraid. Courage means you keep moving forward even when you are.

Maybe you're facing uncertainty at work.
Maybe your marriage is struggling.
Maybe you're worried about your kids.
Maybe you're carrying something nobody else knows about.

You don't have to face it by yourself. You may not know what tomorrow holds, but God does.

Stop and think about this today: Whatever you're facing today, take a minute and talk to God about it. You don't need fancy words. Just be honest.

“God, I'm worried. I don't know what to do. I need You to help me.”

That's a pretty good place to start. Proud of you!

Run Your Race With Purpose

"So run, that ye may obtain." 1 Corinthians 9:24

Every man has a race to run. Some of us just don't want to get off the couch.

God has given you a purpose, a calling, and a responsibility. Success doesn't come from drifting through life; it comes from discipline, commitment, and keeping your eyes focused on the goal.

Do you even have a goal? Or are you stuck in the same ol' routine every day? Think about it.

The question is not whether you will face challenges. The question is whether you will keep moving forward when they come. Run with faith. Run with endurance. Run with purpose.

Give God your best in everything you do. And make sure you have a goal every day.

Are you at a place where you are ready to give up? Don't be a quitter and listen up.
There is hope every day! You just need to know where to find it.

Hope is what you need today, especially when everything feels overwhelming. The Bible reminds us to look toward the future and trust in God’s goodness, even when our circumstances appear bleak.

Together, with Jesus, we can cling to hope as a promise from God. It helps to lift our spirits and guide us through the storms of life. Yes, Jesus will not let you down. But remember that hope is not just a feeling, but a confident trust in God’s plan for all of us, even when we can’t see it.

The question is whether or not you can let go and let Jesus help you with what you're going through today. Are you ready for that? It's as easy as speaking to Jesus and sharing with Him what you are going through and asking Him for help.

See what it says in the Bible:

Romans 15:13
“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”

Psalms 42:11
“Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God.

Lamentations 3:21-23
“Yet this I call to mind and therefore I have hope: Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.”

Romans 5:5
“And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.”

Isaiah 40:29
“He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.”

Jesus is always with us

During this year’s Blast & Cast Annual Gala, we had the privilege of sharing the testimony of one of our incredible volunteers.

His story is a powerful reminder that life doesn’t always go the way we planned. There are seasons of uncertainty, pain, and challenges that can leave us wondering where God is in the middle of it all.

But the truth is simple: God never leaves us. He never abandons us. And He is always there—even in our darkest moments.

We’re honored to share his testimony with you.

Take a few minutes to listen, be encouraged, and remember that whatever you may be facing today, you don’t have to face it alone.

God is faithful. God is present. God is with you.
