We created Airway Adventures because I wanted someplace near our home that would be an easy flight for our family but also have all the conveniences at the local FBO in Durango and a fun place on the lake to spend some time together. We wanted to share our cabin with other pilots, via Airbnb, but also add some conveniences - dedicated toys at the lake like our canoe, kayaks, SUP, and fishing gear.

Since I have a smaller useful load I like having all the tools ready to go at the cabin rather than having to pack them in the plane. Beautiful family size cabin on Vallecito Lake by the mountains located 40minutes from Durango. Perfect for families to have a place to go to with kids or just to enjoy the nature. It is a very nice and peaceful place that offers a lot to do from relaxing to almost all kinds of outdoor activities to exploring the beauty and history of near cities and it's surrounding.
