Happy 18th Birthday, Arleigh Rae. 🩷✨

Eighteen years ago, the world became a little brighter because you were in it.

Today should have been filled with birthday celebrations, plans for the future, and all the dreams that come with becoming an adult. Instead, we honor you the best way we know how- by remembering your beautiful life and continuing the legacy you left behind.

The Arleigh Rae Memorial Fund exists because of the love so many people have for you. Through it, your kindness, your spirit, and your memory continue to impact others and remind us that even the shortest lives can leave the biggest footprints.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support our mission and help us keep Arleigh’s light shining. 💝

Today, Arleigh was honored as an upcoming senior with the Class of 2027.

There are truly no words to describe how emotional and beautiful today was for our family. Watching her classmates and friends honor and remember her during the senior assembly meant more than we could ever put into words. The love shown for Arleigh is a reflection of the light she brought into so many lives every single day.

As difficult as it is to imagine this season without her, today reminded us that her impact will never fade. She would be so proud to be part of such an amazing class.

Our hope for the Class of 2027 is that you continue to lead with kindness, compassion, and love for one another. Include people. Encourage each other. Chase your dreams fearlessly, work hard, make memories, and never take a single moment for granted.

Carry Arleigh with you in the way you treat others and in the way you live your lives. We know she’ll always be cheering you on. 🤍

Arleigh Rae’s headstone was completed today, and it is just as beautiful and full of light as she was 🤍

Every detail feels so her — soft, strong, and full of meaning. From the delicate touches on the front to the back, where her own handwriting is etched forever… something we will treasure always.

Her favorite Bible verse, Proverbs 31:25 ✝️
“Strength and honor are her clothing; she shall rejoice in time to come.”

And in her own words and handwriting, a piece of her we get to hold onto:
always your Rae of sunshine ☀️

A place filled with love, memories, and a connection that will never fade. She will forever be missed, forever be loved, and forever be part of everything we do. 💕

One year without our sweet Arleigh Rae. It still doesn’t feel real, and not a day goes by that we don’t miss her beautiful smile, her laugh, and the way she made everyone around her feel so loved.

Arleigh had a heart bigger than most. She was kind, thoughtful, and always looking for ways to make someone else’s day a little brighter. That was just who she was. She loved deeply, gave freely, and left a piece of her light in everyone she met.

Ganny and Boo, thank you for taking that light and turning it into something so meaningful by starting the Arleigh Rae Memorial Fund. Over this past year, you’ve poured your hearts into keeping her name alive and continuing the kindness she showed so naturally. Because of you, families have been helped, lives have been touched, and Arleigh’s love is still being shared every single day.

We are so grateful for your strength, your dedication, and the beautiful way you honor her. What you’ve created in her name is a true reflection of who she was—full of love, compassion, and giving.

The holidays can be especially hard when someone you love is missing. Christmas was one of Arleigh Rae’s very favorite times of year- she loved the lights, the joy, the magic, and most of all, helping others feel cared for.

While this season carries a lot of emotion, it also reminds us why this fund exists…. We were able to help several families and individuals this Christmas season, spreading a little comfort, kindness, and love- just as Arleigh always did.

Thank you for helping us keep her spirit alive and turning remembrance into something beautiful. We wish you all peace, love, and gentle moments of joy this Christmas. 🩷
