A dedicated member of the Potter’s House Church, Lorenzo exemplifies leadership, perseverance, and excellence both inside and outside the classroom. He plans to attend the University of Southern Mississippi, where he will pursue a degree in Business. During his time at BCHS, Lorenzo has made a strong impact as a member of the football team, served as this year’s Red Ribbon Leader, and was honored as a member of Prom Court—all while taking honors classes and maintaining an impressive 3.66 GPA.

On behalf of the OJ French Memorial Scholarship Committee we are proud to announce that Elisha Jones III has been selected as the recipient of this year's OJ French Memorial Supplemental Scholarship. A devoted member of First Missionary Baptist Church, Elisha has demonstrated outstanding commitment both academically and athletically. A two-sport athlete at BCHS, he has excelled as a member of both the basketball and football teams—all while taking honors classes and maintaining a 3.5 GPA. Elisha plans to continue his academic and athletic journey at the University of West Alabama, where he will major in mechanical engineering and has signed to play football.

There’s no way we can trust Bay Minette or Baldwin County officials to investigate themselves…again! It’s both laughable and insulting that they don’t consider themselves as suspects in the leak of footage that was in THEIR possession. Do what’s right!
