This week our club got to celebrate another grant recipient! We were proud to award a $1,000 Community Grant to the Mt. Pleasant Public Schools Instrumental Music Boosters (IMB).

This grant will be used to purchase auxiliary percussion instruments, providing students with the tools they need to learn, perform, and grow as musicians. These instruments will help strengthen music programs across the district while fostering creativity, teamwork, discipline, and confidence in students.

The Rotary Club of Mt. Pleasant is honored to support programs that enrich the educational experience and create opportunities for students to develop their talents both in and out of the classroom. We are grateful for the dedication of the Instrumental Music Boosters and their commitment to helping students succeed through music.

Together, we are investing in the next generation of performers, leaders, and community members. 🎼🥁💙

This week, the Rotary Club of Mt. Pleasant was proud to award a $750 Community Grant to the LifeClinic - Mt. Pleasant Baby Boutique.

The Baby Boutique provides essential items and support to local families with young children. This grant will help purchase new items that cannot be accepted as donations, such as car seats, cribs, and other safety-related necessities, ensuring families have access to safe and reliable resources for their babies.

We are proud to support organizations like the Life Clinic that are working every day to strengthen families and meet critical needs in our community. Together, we can make a lasting impact on the lives of local parents and children.

Thank you to the Life Clinic team for the compassionate care and support you provide to families throughout our area!

Yesterday Rotarians, Padraic, Katie and Brittany, were at the Business After Hours- Pet Palooza event in Island Park meeting some adoptable dogs with HATS!
Katie is a newer member of our club and did a fantastic job organizing this event with the Mt. Pleasant Area Chamber of Commerce!
Pictured here is Lola, she is a Husky mix with a sweet, energetic personality and is available to visit and adopt at the Humane Animal Treatment Society located at 1105 S Isabella Rd Mt Pleasant.

Pouring drinks. Sharing smiles. Supporting our community.

On June 6th, members of our Rotary Club were proud to volunteer at the Mt. Pleasant Craft Beer Festival, hosted by the Mt. Pleasant Jaycees. Events like this are a great reminder of what makes our community special—people coming together to have fun while supporting a greater cause.

The best part? The funds raised through Beer Fest are reinvested right back into our community through local projects, programs, and nonprofit support.

Shout out to the Mt. Pleasant Jaycees and the Mt Pleasant Craft Beer Fest Committee for organizing another fantastic event.
Cheers to community, collaboration, and giving back!

Rotary Discovery Day was a great day! 💙

Thank you to everyone who joined us at the Mt. Pleasant Discovery Museum for a day of fun, learning, and community connection! We were excited to provide a grant to sponsor a free day of play for everyone and we were thrilled to see such a great turnout and are grateful for the positive feedback from attendees of all ages!

One of Rotary's core values is service, and this event gave us a wonderful opportunity to share who we are, what we do, and why we're passionate about making a difference in our community. From engaging with families to connecting with community members interested in learning more about Rotary, it was a day filled with meaningful conversations and new connections.

A special thank you to the Mt. Pleasant Discovery Museum for partnering with us and for the incredible work they do to provide opportunities for children and families to learn, explore, create, and grow.

We are proud to be People of Action and look forward to continuing to serve our community together!
