‼️POP CAN DRIVE FOR RESCUE CATS‼️
I know I’ve been a little quiet lately, but even though our TNR efforts are on pause while I recover from surgery, the work never really stops. 🐈‍⬛

I still have fosters depending on me and an entire outdoor community of cats that my mom and I continue to feed and care for, even when I’m not actively trapping. Unfortunately, I’m still recovering and without an income right now, and we’re running out of pretty much everything we need for the cats.

We’re currently doing a pop can drive where you can get raffle tickets in exchange for cans for a Halloween Bath & Body Works prize (winner drawn Friday the 23rd @ 5 PM), and we’ve also put together an Amazon wishlist of supplies we desperately need.

If anyone is able to help in any way, whether it’s donating cans, grabbing something off our wishlist, or simply sharing this post, it would mean so much to us. Every little bit helps us keep going and take care of the cats who depend on us.

Thank you for continuing to support us, even during this little pause. We may be slowing down, but we’re not giving up on them. One cat at a time.

For pop can donations: Message our page

We’re also accepting donations of things you may have lying around that you no longer need! Blankets, sheets, towels, and other items that could be useful for the cats are always appreciated. We’re accepting physical donations of cat food, litter, and cleaning supplies as well.

Donations can be dropped off by messaging me for the address, or we can arrange a pickup if that works better for you. Anything helps, and we’re so grateful for everyone who wants to help us keep doing what we do for these cats. ❤️

Just a little reminder/update for everyone‼️

I am officially 1 week post hip surgery and unfortunately still unable to physically assist with any cat related situations. On top of recovering from surgery, I unexpectedly developed blood clots in my leg, so my recovery has been more complicated than I ever anticipated. ☹️ I was really hoping I’d be back at it within the next couple of weeks, but at this point, that timeline is up in the air. I’ll keep everyone updated and let you know as soon as I’m able to get back to helping with strays in person.

In the meantime, I’m still more than happy to help from the sidelines! If you come across a stray or need help figuring out what to do, please feel free to message me. I can walk you through the steps, answer questions, and teach you how to safely help the cat yourself. ❤️ I may not be able to physically be there right now, but I’m still here to help however I can. Thank you all so much for understanding and being patient with me while I recover!

Final update: We are currently on the way home with Tripper now! The bill was entirely taken care of between donations and the rescue that stepped in to help. He is being treated for FIC (Feline idiopathic cystitis) they gave him injections and medication to be sent home with to keep him comfortable and dissolve the crystals. He will also be starting a urinary diet. Thank you so very much to everyone for the help! Even just for the shares on the post! Every small thing has made a difference for this boy.

‼️‼️‼️URGENT PLEASE HELP‼️‼️‼️

UPDATE: He is currently at M20 Animal Hospital in Midland! They are holding him for a few hours and sending me home while they run diagnostics on him.

If anyone is interested in calling in a donation (any amount helps even a couple dollars and is more than appreciated) the account is under Stephanie Majdecki 989-751-0021 pet name Tripper.

I hate to even make this post, but I’m desperate and running out of options.

My foster cat, Tripper, is showing signs of what appears to be a urinary blockage. He is repeatedly going to the litter box, straining, and producing little to no urine. I know this can be a life-threatening emergency. I have already spoken with SEVERAL emergency vets, but the estimate for treatment is far beyond what I can afford, and I don’t have the funds for emergency care or even humane euthanasia right now if that becomes the only option. Currently I have a rescue willing to help with $750 of vet cost. Every vet had quoted me about 4-5k up front to unblock him and do a required hospitalization.

I am looking for any help, whether that is:
• A rescue or medical surrender option
• Donations toward emergency treatment
• Someone experienced who may be able to help him get the care he needs
• Assistance with humane euthanasia if treatment is not possible😢

This is absolutely heartbreaking, and I don’t want Tripper to suffer. Please message me if you can help in any way or know of any resources. Thank you.

Update: I am so happy to update that Daphne (black and white female) has gone to a good home! Please message me if you are interested in Mr. Scooby Doo!

Meet two of my current fosters, Daphne and Scooby!💜💚

These two are 11 weeks old and are both fixed, dewormed, and flea treated. They are not vaccinated yet as they were too young for their rabies vaccine when they were seen by a vet, and unfortunately I had to decline their distemper vaccines at the time because of funds. Their adopters will need to get them caught up on vaccines.

Daphne and Scooby are both a little skittish, but they are SO sweet. They definitely give each other confidence and do slightly better together. Scooby loves being loved on and will happily accept all the attention you want to give him, but neither of them have quite figured out seeking out human affection yet. They just need someone patient who will give them a little time to come out of their shells.

They don’t have to be adopted together, but I would absolutely love to see them stay together if the right person comes along for both of them. ❤️

Their adoption fee is $35 each or $50 for the pair.

As with all of my fosters, they will need to be indoor only cats. I also ask for a vet reference and landlord approval before adoption.

If you might be the perfect home for Daphne or Scooby, send me a message!🐈‍⬛

Just a quick reminder that starting next week, I will be taking a temporary break from trapping, transporting, assisting with strays, and taking in any new fosters while I recover from hip surgery. ❤️

I expect to be out of commission for up to 3 months, depending on my recovery. I appreciate everyone’s understanding and patience while I focus on healing! I’ll be back to helping our community and the kitties as soon as I’m able!

I’m looking for an emergency foster for an incredibly sweet pregnant cat until Tuesday. 💕

I stumbled upon her outside a friend’s house and just couldn’t leave her there knowing she could go into labor at any time. She deserves a safe, quiet place until I get her the care she needs. Even if it’s just a small bedroom or bathroom.

Right now she is scheduled for a spay/abort on Wednesday, and I’m actively trying to find her an even sooner appointment. If I’m able to get her in earlier, even better! She’s currently in my garage in a dog kennel but it will get too hot in there for her over the next couple days. I CANNOT bring her inside my house. We are just getting rid of a bad URI that was circulating between my cats and I don’t have a single room inside to isolate her to.

If she happens to have her kittens before her appointment, I will then need to find a foster for mama and her babies until the kittens are old enough to be weaned. At that point, mama will be spayed and returned to her colony where she came from.

If anyone is able to foster this sweet girl for just a few days, or has any leads on an earlier spay appointment, please message me as soon as possible. Sharing this post is also greatly appreciated! ❤️🐾
