Cant reminisce about the Ecto-4A past without talking about our first secretary Barbara Flemming My Mom

Barbara was a big supporter of Ecto-4A long before it was a non-profit organization she worked on other projects that made her a shoe in for the position

Barbara was born in 1963 and from then on she was traveling the United states living in various states she always tried the hardest to support her boys and she was very proud to do so barbara took place in alot of Ecto-4A events ether in the background or up close such as Midland Mall Comic-Con and every Coldwater Holiday Parade that Ecto-4A did waving she did a few fill the Ecto events she got to meet Ernie Hudson before she died he is such a friendly person

We lost our secretary barbara January 10th 2026 never really told you what happen she had some heart issues in the end she spent her birthday in the hospital as well as Christmas and new years what she ended up taking her was a bleeding stomach ulcer that they couldn't fix due to the heart issues barbaras last look at the world was her son's Logan and Bob holding her hand and making jokes smiling and laughing she was fully coherent right up until they administered medication to keep her comfortable she went strong and in alot of people's opinions way to young

We honor our secretary Barbara for committing to the job never missing a detail or meeting

Below is some pictures some you have seen some you have not seen gives you a different look into her life she loved pets playing computer games the trucking world and collecting antiques and most of all she loved her grand children they always had a special place in her heart

One full week till the closure of Ecto-4A

We started off doing a toy drive we just did fill the ecto at Five Below in midland and we did it 4 times that year and it was cold we tried to adapt to the cold temperatures we have a ice shanty and a heater last year we started off with MyMichigan Health Pediatric Center wich at the time we thought it was one Center but it was always 2 so the next year we went for the 2nd one as well as BF Autism Center LLC they were great we ended up branching out to Game Changer Therapy Services LLC we enjoyed giving the kids their toys

After that we did the first school supply drive for Midland County Educational Service Agency we remained in contact and helped them for most the school drives last year we branched out even more and did Saginaw Covenant Academy they were so good and very engaging we also started Bangor Township Schools wich ended up being one of our last schools we helped along with Gladwin Community Schools but we also gathered school supplies for Harrison Community Schools wich that drive was huge and the last school was Renaissance Public School Academy-Mount Pleasant they were always so accepting and ready to receive great people

We gained help with the Mt Pleasant drive with the Stripes and pieces foundation we did a touch a truck event together at the Isabella county fairgrounds that was big and fun but we had a few issues that made it bad

Squid Squad motorcycle group has been a dream working with sometimes I want to say things would of been just impossible without Doug Bri and the rest of them squids they will be taking over the Midland Drive as their project and Bob will be volunteering for them

Thanks everyone for making this organization beautiful below is some pictures of the school supply drives and toy drives
