We're excited to announce our new Career Connections Mentorship Program!

We've already been building a team of mentors within the community to bridge the gap between aspiring professionals and those already there — today we're opening up that team and welcoming ALL fields and professions, not just tech. No prior mentorship experience needed — just some time and a passion to help others.

We're excited to announce a new addition to our Education Core Initiative: SETF's TechTalks Series!

-- Why? --
To spotlight folks doing interesting things in the community that would like to share their work, what they do, or how they got there.

-- How will we execute this? --
We plan to always livestream their presentation (via Google Meet), to increase accessibility for our community and we are actively working with local SF Bay Area Gurdwaras, campuses, and other venues for an additional in-person element to each seminar.

-- What would this look like? --
A seminar presentation giving our speaker the opportunity to dive into their topic of choice. From deep-dives into technical topics, to introductions to their profession/industry, to even summaries of their career with highlights how they got there, we are providing our community members the platform to share more about their passion and the knowledge that's gotten them there.

BIG thanks to everyone who came out to our Picnic Networking Social today👏🏽❗️Though lacking photos😅, we had a great time meeting more community members and creating a space for people to naturally connect🙏🏽.
