✨ ’Twas the night before the first day of school… ✨

When all through the house,
Not a child was stirring…
Because somehow they’re STILL not asleep. 😂

The backpacks are packed,
The outfits are laid out,
The school supplies are ready,
And we’re all freaking out. 🎒✏️

The lunches are prepped,
The water bottles are filled,
The “I’m not tired!” negotiations
Have officially been killed. 😴

Tomorrow we’ll walk through those doors once again,
With new teachers, new friends,
and a year waiting to begin. ❤️

So whether you’re excited,
nervous, or barely hanging on—
we’re in this together!

Here’s to a year full of learning, laughter,
new adventures, and memories in the making. 🍎📚

Happy last day of Summer! Today’s Meet Your Board Member is Zach, our other Co-Treasurer! He is funny, smart, kind, and is always available to be the grill master at our family fun nights!

When Zach isn’t working or volunteering with the PTO, you may find him camping, fishing, coaching baseball, or attending his daughter’s Taekwondo events.

His kids are 6th generation students in the Battle Ground School District, they own a local small business, and he and his wife joined the PTO to help do their part to support our schools.

Thank you Zach for your faithful service to our team and our schools! We really appreciate you!

🚨3 MORE DAYS PEOPLE 🚨

Today’s segment of Meet Your Board Members takes us to Jennifer, one of our Co-Treasurers! She is passionate, helpful, and cares deeply about our students and supporting our staff! 💚

In Jennifer’s free time, you can find her building Lego sets, camping and going on fun adventures with her family like riding ATVS at the dunes! Her favorite sport is football, and her go to drink is either a Monster energy drink, or boba! 🧋

This year will be Jennifer’s second year in our Daybreak Community, and she wanted to join the PTO because she really enjoys supporting her kids schools, and seeing all the fun things that our PTO does for our students and staff. Her favorite event we host is the Spring Family Fun Night— and what she hopes her kids remember about school is all the good memories made, and having fun!

We are excited to have you on our team Jennifer, thank you for all the ways you support our schools, we appreciate you!

First Day of School Countdown: 4 MORE DAYS! 🎉

You know what time it is! It’s meet your board member o’clock! Meet Kristie, our Secretary. It is far too often that secretaries go unnoticed— NOT HERE! We love and appreciate the joy that Kristie brings to our team, stepping in and filling the gaps when it’s needed the most! 💜

In her free time, you can find Kristie putting together a puzzle, or watching her favorite movie, The Last Unicorn. She enjoys doing Pilates and paddle boarding, and taking her family to Disneyland! Her go to coffee order is a Dutch Bros Sugar Free Golden Eagle Nitro Coldbrew with lite soft top. 🧩☕️🦄

Kristie has been around our Daybreak community for 6 years, and has loved the connections she has made with other parents and communities. She joined the PTO to support a friend, and it has surprised her to be rewarding as she gets to see everything that our PTO does to support our students. She hopes that her kids will remember the friendships they have made, and that they will be lifelong friends.

Thank you, Kristie, for what you bring to our community! You are a joy, fun, and a great team member! When you see her around, don’t be afraid to say hello! ☀️

✨5 more days until the first day of school! ✨

And on today’s meet your board members, we are meeting Jenny, our steady and dependable Vice President! She is funny, talented, kind, and you can always count on her to work hard with a smile on her face.

When Jenny isn’t volunteering with the PTO, you will find her enjoying a good audio book, planning the most amazing themed parties, and decorating elaborate and yummy sugar cookies! Keep your eyes open at our bake sales! Her family enjoys baseball, camping, and family movie nights.

Jenny’s favorite event we host is the Fall Festival, and she has been involved in our Daybreak Community for about 6 years! She grew up in a community with a thriving and supportive PTO, and she works hard to bring that vision to our Daybreak Schools. She hopes her kids will grow up to remember the wonderful friends they made, caring teachers, and fun school events.

Thank you, Jenny, for the dedication you bring to our team, students, and teachers. You are one of a kind, and we are so grateful for all you do.

T-6 days until the first day of school! ✏️📚♥️

Let’s meet our PTO board members for this school year!

Today, let’s meet Michelle! She is our tried and true, hard working and amazing PTO President. She is wonderfully kind and selfless, and is always thinking about how we can best serve our schools.

When she’s not working or volunteering her time for our schools, you can find her enjoying the outdoors, traveling, and trying new restaurants with her husband. She is crafty and well organized, enjoys camping, watching baseball and football, and her go-to coffee order is a Dutch Bros iced cocomo with an extra shot!

She joined the PTO because she wanted to get more involved with the schools, and bring more community to our Daybreak families. Her favorite event that we host is our Fall Fun Run, and she loves seeing how supportive everyone is of our students. She has been in the Daybreak School community for 8 years, and what she hopes her kids will remember about their time at Daybreak are happy memories and experiences they had during their primary and middle school years.

Thank you, Michelle, for all you do for our students and staff! You can meet her this Thursday at Back-To-School, and don’t ever be hesitant to reach out!

The first day of school is right around the corner, and we at the PTO are so excited for what we have planned for our schools this year!

Reminder that back to school night for TK and grades 1st-8th is this Thursday, 4:30-6.
If your last name starts with A-L, your time is 4:30-5:15, and last names M-Z, your time is 5:15-6.

Pizza will be provided in the gym, and come say hi to us at our table on the way! We would love to meet you and get you connected in our Daybreak Community. ♥️ 🍕

(Reminder that Kindergartens back to school night is September 3rd!)

We are looking forward to wrapping up this school year together tonight! ☀️

It’s been a great year, and we are excited to celebrate all that we accomplished, and forecast for next years plans.

As a thank you to our volunteers, parents and teachers, and your continued support, a dinner will be provided.
