Home is not an afterthought. It is part of the purpose.

Fale Scholar’s goal is to prepare high-achieving Tongan students to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in the United States and, when their education and licensing journey is complete, return to Tonga as licensed, confident nurses ready to serve their own people.

That vision is bigger than one scholar: and it cannot be carried by one organization alone. Strengthening healthcare is a long-term, shared effort involving families, educators, mentors, healthcare partners, churches, businesses, and donors.

We are not promising a quick fix or guaranteed employment. We are investing patiently in people, preparation, and a future where more Tongan communities can be cared for by nurses who understand where they come from.

Small gifts help make that pathway possible. When many people contribute what they can, those gifts collectively support the tuition, housing, meals, books, transportation, and other essentials that allow a scholar to focus on becoming a nurse.
