“Fully funded” should mean more than tuition: and at Fale Scholar, it does.

For accepted students pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, our program is designed to cover the practical costs of studying in the United States, including tuition, room and board, accommodations, meals, transportation, textbooks, and supplies.

Fale Scholar also provides support with the visa and related legal processes connected to the student journey. This support does not guarantee visa approval or timing, but it helps students and families navigate an important part of the process.

One cost remains with the family: travel to the United States.

By removing these major financial barriers, donors help high-achieving Tongan students focus on their education and prepare for meaningful healthcare careers.

A dream of nursing can begin on an island: and lead to a life of service on the frontlines of healthcare.

For a high-achieving Tongan student, the journey to a US Bachelor of Science in Nursing is rigorous: long hours in the classroom, skills practice in the lab, and hands-on medical experience that builds both competence and confidence.

Fale Scholar removes the financial barriers that can stand in the way. Through donor support, scholars receive funding for tuition, housing, meals, transportation, textbooks, supplies, and other essential needs throughout their 3–4 year pathway to a BSN. Families cover travel to the United States.

But the destination is bigger than a degree. The goal is to prepare Tongan nurses to return home licensed, capable, and ready to care for the people and communities that shaped them.

This journey is made possible one contribution at a time. A small gift can help provide a semester of textbooks, a month of meals, transportation, or a portion of housing. When we give together, every dollar helps build Tonga’s healthcare future.
